He has a graduate degree in Law (2018) and a master’s degree in Judicial Law (2020) from the Law School of the University of Minho, having also attended the Facultad de Derecho of the Universidad de Salamanca for a semester under the Erasmus Programme.
With a background as a lawyer, currently, he provides legal support and represents the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests I.P. in court. Until recently, among other activities, he worked as a lawyer at ‘Rocha & Gayo Advogados’.
Regarding intellectual production, he won the PNED 2021 Award for Research on Ethics in Sport, promoted by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, I.P., in partnership with the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities. He also published an article in 2021 under the theme “Sports Sanctionary Power” and a book chapter in the book of “Compendium of Sports Law” by Dr. Alexandre Miguel Mestre.
He is a PhD student in the doctoral programme of Development, Societies and Territories at the School of Human and Social Sciences of UTAD. His research focuses on transdisciplinary issues related to regional disparities and asymmetries, as well as territorial and social cohesion.
