She is currently a PhD student in the doctoral programme of Agribusiness and Sustainability at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro.

Oloiva is an Economist, she gained her postgraduate degree in accounting and finance, and her Master’s in health services management, where her dissertation focused on the implementation of quality systems, namely: EFQM, ISO 9001, CHKS, JCI and ACSA. She is a member of the Order of Economists of Portugal (nº 15 713/2018) in the group of College of Economics, Business Management and Taxation. She is an associate member of the Portuguese Institute of Internal Auditing (IPAI, nº: 2 365/2018) and an associate member of the International Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA nº: 2 126 178/2018). She is also a member of the International Circular Economy Club (CEC), UK and an opinion piece writer for the Forbes Lusofonia magazine.

Oloiva has participated in several events, like in the Horizon Europe, Pillar II – Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy and Mobility and Pillar II – Cluster 6 – Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment projects. Her research interests are circular economy, bioenergy, energy transition and decarbonization of the economy, finance and auditing.
